The Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics concentrate an intense program in 12 days, complete with theoretical and practical sessions, aimed at young musicians and supported by professors from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, a world leader in music education.
In addition to the prestige of Berklee College of Music, the high-profile teaching staff, and the possibility of obtaining scholarships to attend the College, there is also an invaluable factor: the opportunity to experience Umbria Jazz, one of the most famous and important jazz festivals in the world. For more than three decades, the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics have been held in July in the beautiful city of Perugia at the same time as the Umbria Jazz Festival, thus allowing all those enrolled to attend all the concerts at the Arena Santa Giuliana free of charge and live an all-round experience.
