Daniele Tomassini is the DJ, music producer and sound composer behind the Feel Fly project. Considered one of the main actors of the new European underground electronic scene, began his musical career as a composer of soundtracks for theater and film productions, from which came his first international awards, the starting point for his subsequent compositional work, including the latest, for the film I Santi (2021) by Giacomo Abbruzzese; director recently winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival with the movie Disco Boy.
Co-founder of the Afro Templum party, the club-oriented musical productions of these years will be essential to the definition of Feel Fly’s sound, a sound that straddles worlds and eras that are only apparently opposed: Ambient, House and disco, merged with more acid, balearic and trancey sounds, finding favor with key figures of a certain clubbing scene such as Prins Thomas, who released his first official album Syrius (2019) and then the EP Cosmo Cosmo (2022), interspersed with an ep of remixes by Dj Sotofett and Prins Thomas himself, all published on Internasjonal, or Gerd Janson, who recently released his latest work Mediterranean Dreams Part. 1 and Part.2 (2022) on International Feel Recordings (label founded by Mark Barrott).
His acts are typified by a consistently romantic and sensual streak, combined with the energy and power of the rhythm. Insatiable digger, his curiosity leads him to investigate every possible realm of sound and contamination to bring back to the dance floors and in its productions.
