2025 will mark the 40th year of collaboration between the Umbria Jazz Festival and the Berklee College of Music, allowing students to spend two weeks (8-20 July, 2025) in Perugia, improving their musical skills with one of the best educational music programs.

Since its foundation in 1945, many great artists have attended Berklee College of Music: Diana Krall, John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Branford Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, Steve Vai, Gary Burton, Chaka Khan, Tony Bennett, Joe Zawinul, Joe Lovano, Pat Metheny.
Altogether, Berklee alumni have won more than 250 Grammy Awards during their careers.

The Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics is now an integral part of Umbria Jazz, its identity and its qualitative offer. Moreover, it is a cultural and economic wealth for Perugia, thanks to its substantial economic income. It represents a heritage that has to be defended for its singularity since it can be an essential asset for the future of the Festival and the city. The program tuition is € 650.
