Legendary Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer will spend the Summer of 2025 setting European festival and club stages on fire with her HOT SUMMER FUNK TOUR 2025. For this tour, Candy and her sensational band are joined by very special guest Shelby J., the high-energy, fan- favourite singer who rose to fame performing with Prince.
Candy Dulfer has earned her place in music history — with her Grammy-nominated debut album Saxuality, combined worldwide sales of over 2.5 million copies of her solo albums, live and studio performances with the greatest names in music (including Prince, Van Morrison, Maceo Parker, Aretha Franklin, Blondie and Pink Floyd), several number 1 hits in Europe, Japan and the USA, and her worldwide concert tours and legendary live shows. She is the recipient of the Edison Jazz Lifetime Achievement Award, the most prestigious music award in The Netherlands. In 2024, Candy and her band toured all over Europe, Japan and the USA.
Joining Candy on her Summer tour is American singer and songwriter Shelby J., who toured and recorded with Prince, featured prominently on his hit song ‘Chelsea Rodgers’, and shared the stage with him at his legendary Superbowl performance. She also toured extensively with D’Angelo, performed with Carlos Santana and was featured on Roy Hargrove’s special project album ‘The RH Factor’.
