Giò Brunetti

Giò Brunetti first put on his headphones professionally between the late 1980s and the early 1990s, starting his career in a network of small venues that have woven, with their precious intimate formula, the history of Italian clubbing. He is among the pioneers of a movement that has established the Italian club-ecosystem as a circuit with a resonance that extends beyond national borders and continues to do so. Over time Gio Brunetti’s name has gained prominence in the world of house and beyond, with a cultural and educational background that spans from acid jazz to the latest mainstream sounds, including reggae, pop, and soul. His strong personality defines a career that has rightfully earned an increasingly significant position in the Italian and international scene. One of his most acclaimed European performances was in 2011: a live set at the Ministry of Sound in London.
