From South: take the A1 highway towards Firenze, exit at Orte, then follow road signs towards Terni.

From Viterbo: Take the SS1bis, exit at Orte and follow road signs towards Terni.

From Rieti: through the SS Rieti-Terni (not completed).

Percorsi alternativi di particolare interesse paesaggistico: Da Roma (o dalle Marche) lungo la strada statale 3 (Flaminia) che raggiunge Terni e poi prosegue per Spoleto, Foligno fino ad arrivare all’Adriatico. Provenendo dalle Marche, lungo la strada statale 256 fino a Norcia e poi attraversando la Valnerina (strada statale 209) fino a Terni.
