STEVE WILSON/LEWIS NASH DUO
Steve Wilson and Lewis Nash first debuted as a duo in 2001. Given that the formula sax – drums is not exactly common, at the time you might have been forgiven for thinking that it would have been a one-off. But it wasn’t, and they have been performing together more or less regularly ever since because they find it stimulating and because they have continued to enjoy ever-growing success together with audiences at clubs and festivals (including Umbria Jazz). Three years ago they issued a live recording of their duo, and it documents a musical experience that has become an important part of their respective careers.
